Cancer: Maka

My symbolism: Crab for the Cancer sign, which represents protectiveness and timidity. There is the moon in a style similar to Yin and Yang, the moon and sun itself representing light and dark, good and evil. The moon shines brightest for Cancer, its ruling planet, and there is the major factor in Soul Eater of madness on the moon. Now this isn't to say how mad Maka is, as it's meant to show power; inner strength. That's also the reason there is a little soul above Maka's heart (with a little heart inside it); not only showing inner strength, it shows love. The light shining down from the moon (those little highlights) are meant to show mystique as well as warmth. Maka's figure flows (just like the others, all of them will flow in some sort of way) in waves much like Crona and Kid, only hers are much calmer with soft waves here and there. The color is a pink-red, a warm color reminiscent of Valentine's Day (day of love) and reminds me of the Cancer crab. (Also kind of funny how the color scheme reminds me of the Kishin.)

I based my judgement on the few astrology books I own and the few years I've been reading about the signs online. I picked Cancer for Maka because of her almost overprotective nature, her sincere care for friends, determination, and nearly impulsive actions as if based on intuition from the start (before her soul perception). She's a bit moody/aggressive and often has moments where she feels helpless, but that doesn't hold her back. Like the crab, she can keep to herself, and she won't give in when it comes to striving for her loved ones.

I believe I am the first to post Cancer Maka but...you can't really claim it... It's like crossovers; it's a general thing.
